I thought it was to make it easier to work on all the time -
DMSS update 30.3.24 and PTZ preset lost
Unfortunately I’ve decided it’s the new NVR and not an app problem. I’ve added the old NVR to the Amcrest app and the IVS notifications work. Just got a motion notification from the new NVR but no IVS. The email came through from the new NVR for the IVS though -

The PTZ presets are working in the Amcrest app with the new and old NVR as well as IVS notifications from the old NVR -

I’ve downloaded Amcrest View Pro 2 and regained some usability. The problem was I bought a new NVR and lost IVS notifications in the app. I know the tripwire is working because I get an email notification. I know push notifications are working because I get motion and SMD notifications but no... -

It’s nice being able to take an old Lorex NVR that’s useless for any thing other than recording and get the features of a 4KS2. One of the other ones I gave to a friend along with a couple Lorex cameras and two from Andy. Now he’s purchased 3 more from Andy and wants a bigger NVR, 8 ports isn’t...- 97JeepXJ

I only remembered because I just spent an hour last night and an hour this morning trying to get it to work on another Lorex NVR. My trouble was the Wi-Fi router I was using. Tried on my main network and got it to work- 97JeepXJ

Network-> TCP/IP -> IP Version -> change to IPv6 click Reset Defaults Change back to IPv4 Should allow all parameters to be set without the error now Save -

Not going to lie, I’ve definitely stood on a ladder in the bucket of tractor a few times. At least he’s not trimming or trying to cut down a tree, I was not either, but they make for great YouTube videos when somebody does while they’re on a ladder -

I was a frequent visitor and paying member of that site for years. I have a hard time believing broadcastify is not a major contributing factor for encryption though. Thankfully it hasn’t happened here yet but the fact anybody with a phone can listen in makes it hard for me to support them anymore. -

Being 50 mi from Whiteman I occasionally see groups of planes and helicopters fly over, 2 or 3 up to 5 sometimes, if they actually show up on ADS-B there’s only one listed. Nothing ever shows up when a B-2 goes over though -

I assume parts were scavenged from it eventually but still an expensive mistake. Picture was taken feb 2013 so I really don’t recall what happened to it. My guess would be it was totaled by insurance and sold at auction -

How can I upgrade a Lorex HD DVR to a Dahua Firmware?
DMSS will work for the Lorex NVR’s I have (I assume DVR’s too) unless you’re trying to use P2P, and if that’s the case you shouldn’t and should probably figure out how not to -
Replacing Water Heater Tank in Attic
I’ve seen quite a few water heaters laying on their side and a few that look like they may have been dropped too. Not a single one was still in service by that point -
