I have both -EI and -XI (but 608-XI not 5xxx-XI).. main difference between 5xxx-EI and 5xxx-XI is that -XI have much more AI performance onboard NVR.. But this is important only for AI DONE on NVR... IF you do some AI on camera (IVS, FaceDetect, VideoMetaData, AcuPick etc), there is NO...- steve1225

-XI have higher -AL limits, for processing done on NVR. For AI done on cameras - there is no difference... You can look at cheaper 5xxx-EI line, or new 5xxx-EI2 (2x more AI)...- steve1225

T54IR is a sensitive color camera which can work at night in color mode - and comparison is highly recommended - with the same external white street lighting (no onboard white light usage on white light models)... Especially that T54IR is a benchmark on this forum... Everyone knows this model... -

It's hard to tell anything based on those 2 pictures... any comparison pictures to 54IR / Color4K / TIOC-PRO at the same location / direction / shutter speed & camera parameters? pictures from different locations / angles? movies with human / car motion? :) -

This is what good camera with big sensor & good telephoto optics can do with car plates at day & night... ask your installer for something similar ;) -

Yes, SmartSens sensors (taken from TIOC-PRO / HIK ColorVu) used in WizColor 5x59-PRO series are cheaper and more noisy ones.. OmniVision ones (from 5442) used in Smart Dual Light 5x59-IL are much more sensitive and noise is very different from them... -

Two more differences: - varifocal WizColor 5x59-PRO will have P-Iris. P-Iris is ability to close aperture in good light condition for better Depth of Field - to cancel limited DoF for open F1.2 aperture... In Smart Dual Light 5x59-IL line only telephoto Z4E model will have this feature... -

beeping noise can be everything - from hdd problem starting.. what you mean there no cameras? over web? over hdmi? does interface shows (there are menus) but no camera feeds? or there is no interface at all? first you should connect NVR over HDMI to any monitor/tv (plus mouse over USB) and...- steve1225
