I had my gtx 1660 super not working with your setup of only custom module and ipcam-general.pt or ipcam-combined.pt. I used all your modulesettings.jason files you posted. I also tried it with all modules enabled. The 1050 Ti worked with either setup.

I think you're right. Both 1660 and the 1050 Ti take the same driver. I even did a clean install of windows 10 twice. I also checked the hash of the cudnn files the script downloads vs the ones you get yourself when you have to login to nvidia. They match. The only variable I could think of was...

My Bullet works but its looking in the opposite direction with a much more open view. Can you suggest a exposure setting that worked for you? I tried 1/60 and even auto.

When you say SMD does not filter properly is that with a NVR or Blue Iris? I'm just trying to find out if SMD can work with Blue Iris at all or must you have a NVR? IVS also works for me on Blue Iris.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try the IVS human detection, I didn't even know it was there. You must be on older firmware or you have a different 5442 than me. All of mine have Smart Motion Detection. I have three IPC-HDW5442T-ZE - IPC-T5442TM-AS - IPC-B5442E-ZE.

Do you need a NVR to make Dahua Smart Motion Detection work, humans only? I'm using Blue Iris and Dahua IVS now.

Your videos were the only thing that helped me to finally get a good face shot. It's really what is most important to me.

I took Wildcat_1's advice and set hlc at 90 and manually turned down ir somewhere between 21 and 40 for me. I think it depends on the scene. It looks kind of dark but when a person shows up I can now really see the face. i also set shutter speed to 1/60 th.

I have three 5442 cameras and all of them are way better in low light with just ir than my 5231.
