My Kaspersky antivirus found a trojan-spy.win32.teamspy.rz issue in the dropbox downloaded version. Not sure if anybody had issues with this file?

I used to use one for each of my 3 cameras from the "link to web" feature in smart pss but since updating my firmware this no longer works. Is this a new security feature? Does anyone know of a local url auto login command something like: http://admin:password@192.168.0.101 Many thanks

Fair point, but generally you assume a firmware upgrade to be just that...."an upgrade", so it should be worth doing and you don't expect problems you never had before. I certainly would not have done it had I known there was no roll back/downgrade option any more. :(

I'd like to know too. It would be nice to think the next firmware release allows you to roll back firmware version once again also. I'm not keen on having to try the unbrick-recovery option unless I really have to.

Is this firmware ok to use on IPC-HFW4239T-ASE as stated in first post as the filename in the firmwares start 5x3x and not 4x3x ?

I can set the bitrate to 6656 with iframe at 24 but as others have said this is so unnecessary with H265. I use h265 @2250 24fps 1080p which I find perfect.

I've set my camera up for both motion detection and alarm input via pir. When motion is detected and the the pir triggers within a few second of each other the resulting video on playback stutters and a few frames are lost due to differently triggered events. This never happened on my 4mp...

Ive been using petroleum jelly smeared around the camera lenze body for the past couple of years and it works well. It's cheap and wont wash away in the rain.
