Hikvision has a holidays schedule but when I read into this it stops the recording on the dates you specify instead of starting it which just seems stupidly redundant mate? ‍♂️

Thanks for the reply , it’s more a monitoring station issue if I leave the schedule on in the day they get hammered by activations from staff

Hi, no, they don’t seem to work and show one of 3 things: connected, if I independently power the camera resistance to high if I try to power them via the NVR’s poe disconnected if no cameras are connected.

Ok so that’s a bit long winded let me save you some time and effort… Goto: Network → Advanced Settings → Other Turn on the Enable Virtual Host option. Now all you do is put your NVR’s IP in followed by : and 65001 for camera 1 65002 for camera 2 and so on…. Example: 192:168:1:54:65001...

For those interested As above mentions, this is caused by having 'trigger channel switched on on multiple cameras with continuous recording activated. This drove me mad for weeks until i stumbled across a post that pointed out on a busy site all my cameras were encoding events at the same time...
