If you do not have a computer with a COM port you can use a USB to serial cable. It worked with my laptop via USB and NVR It has to be the exact type which I attached in this message :) Can always help :)

Hi again Alexis, I managed to connect the NVR via putty and managed to stop it from rebooting, thanks for that lead. But I cannot find the unziped files which you downloaded from Dahua. And regarding the TFTP server what tool did you use please ? Thanks again Alexis

Hi guys, I somehow managed to brick two NVRs NVR5216-16P-4KS2 with the new firmware V4.001.0000000.1 Build:2020-03-19. It is constantly losing ping and looping, (NVR 4.0 logo comes for a few seconds and restarts again) Can anyone help me or maybe someone had same issue like me? Thanks a lot...
