    Amcrest PTZ Lagging/Overshooting when controlling

My older version Amcrest PTZ cameras are very accurate in terms of the Amcrest software controlling their movement. Once I click the mouse it instantly moves and once i unlick it instantly stops. However, on my newer cameras , this one specifically Modelip2m-863ew-ai-v2 the reactions are...

New setup issues with Lorex bundle.

Do you happen to know how to set the substream/mainstream for a lorex camera? I see the values are dependent of the brand.

New setup issues with Lorex bundle.

I switched my generic brand IP cameras to a Lorex system. The Cameras plug directly into the Lorex NVR now, instead of the POE switch I previously used. When plugged into the POE switch, blue iris detects the cameras but when plugged into the Lorex nvr blue iris doesn seem to pick them up when I...

    Secondary router causing some complications

Im working on setting up a VPN on my netgear router now. This will only utilize the vpn on devices connected directly to the netgear router I am assuming. Does this mean I also have to use a vpn on my ISP provided router? Maybe I should just connect all ethernet devices directly to my netgear...

    Secondary router causing some complications

Ok so maybe I will just change the config over to an access point. I only have a couple of wyze wifi cams for similar uses as yourself. Im just dreading the unexpected side effects like having to reconnect my damn ring camera, doorbell etc.

    Secondary router causing some complications

Hmm ok I will check the netgear website to see if they have instructions to do that. I am assuming any wifi devices will need to be reconnected?

    Secondary router causing some complications

I am not entirely sure. I used the automated setup a couple of years ago when I got the router. The camera ip's that are connected to that network are not in the same range as the ones on my local network.

    Secondary router causing some complications

I use a secondary (netgear) router for wifi. It took me a while to get my Wyze cams to work on my nvr software because I did not realize my pc had to be on the same network as the wyze cams. My PC is hardwired with ethernet. I can only view the wyze cam feeds if I connect my computer using wifi...

Yes I have done that for each camera but there seems to be a separate option for hardware accelerated decode.

    BI Using near 100% cpu

Can I select the hardware accelerated decode per camera individually instead of from the overall camera settings? Reason being is that my wyze cams had dropped when i changed the overall hardware accelerated decode.

    BI Using near 100% cpu

I have just purchased a dedicated pc just for blueiris and recording. I have only added 3 cameras so far and everything is lagging and it says 99% CPU usage. I believe my pc should be more than capable of handling the tasks.
