hmm, did nothing special, just enabled video codec h264 and video enabled in linphone, video works, but only after pickup for early video i used that rtsp hack -

For a test, can you also configure the Doorstation as an sip client and the 93xx too? So make a direct call over sip from outdoor to indoor, I never got early video working on the indoor station, only after a pickup call, never got that to work .. that's why I used the alternative trunk approach -

Hmm, I have video , but not in early call, that's why I use that originate/rtsp ... But video works for my when there is a direct call from Doorstation to indoor trunk to extension..., maybe video not enabled? You need h264 codec enabled in PBX setting... Do you see no video at all, or black... -

Try to avoid chansip, it's deprecated... You can call trunk to trunk .. in my guide linphone was just an example, you can call whatever you want... But you will miss early video... The only way to have early video is to use that rtsp-app , it's compiled as custom in asterisk , then use that AGI... -

You can use originate command to invite multiple users in the conference, in my example I just call 1 users with the originate, but you can invite as many as you want... Indeed 100...5 is the trunk, that one will ring and the dialplan is based on that incoming call, Its the virtual indoor extension -

1 trunk is enough as extension.. I used conference, you can invite as many extensions to the call, once you join, the ,8003 joins too... I used that approach so I can originate the call from an custom app (rtsp for asterisk,) to have early video -

With my approach you can combine sip and hikconnect indeed... You can also register multiple indoor extensnions as trunk if you modify the code.. Groupcall will not work, you will loose video then, video in groupcall, I never got that to work (early video) This is I think a general sip limit... -

Hm , don't think you can use sip and hikconnect at same time... Also early video is lost if you use indoor / sip softphones with regular sip... But I have an workaround for that, I wrote an home assistant addon for Hikvision doorbells and I also shared some sip tips :-)... -

No, an indoor is mandatory, unless you use it with sip, but then you need to setup an PBX... Quite overkill for a doorbell -

Hi , you dont need to login to hikconnect on the device itself, you can just add directly Onvif cameras to it with ivms, afterwards you can display them on the device On your mobile, if you then you login , you can also see the cameras you added to the device -
