Don't see a problem at all, you can setup each user to have access to any number of cameras. They'll both use the same IP addess or DDNS name but then login with their own credentials. Any cameras they dont have access to will give a 'no permission' message.

First thing I always do with any hik problems is update firmware.

Any idea what Firmware you are running on the cameras and the NVR? If you are getting Link lights for each camera on the back of your NVR I'd suspect you are running newer cameras that will need activating and an old firmware NVR that doesnt allow you to activate them automatically? Firmware...
