Did you do a proper shut down by turning off the NVR within the software not just unplugging? I had one fry from a power outage this way before adding a ups. Also, let the nvr power up for a few minutes before plugging cameras in, and then one at time waiting about 10 minutes in-between.

I just noticed it's BNC not IP. mat200 knows better than me but I believe you have to start over with IP stuff. I just threw all my Q-see BNC cameras and NVRs in the trash.

You need to use a different app such as DMSS. One of my NVRs is a Q-see and it's working fine through any app other than Q-See view. if tried a bunch but like DMSS.

Yes, I bought a new NVR from Andy then figured out how to use openvpn so now I have two NVRs with a total of 27 cameras working.

I use DMSS with my android phone, no issues. It accesses two NVRs. I use OpenVPN when away to see the cameras.

Yes, I use DMSS. There are a bunch that work. It's not the app that allows remote viewing so pretty much all of them work. You have to set up a home VPN through your router like Open VPN. Read the entire thread or search for "open VPN"...

In order to restore an image/clone to a new drive, it must be created first. When I change/upgrade my C: drive I create an image/clone to a separate hard drive either internal or external. Change out the old hard drive, and point rescue disk to the new drive's location so it can write/restore...

I swear by macrium. I've been using it weekly for many, many years. Really easy to replace a hard drive. Remember, it's not if a hard drive will fail but when.

No idea. I still use it since I use openvpn to access it remotely.

They should work fine just plugging them if the passwords are the same as the NVR. You can use the config tool to find the IP for each camera and enter them manually with their passwords if needed. You will still have to setup the NVR along with the settings you want.

May be a bad hard drive. Bought two new ones a couple months ago and one was bad out of the box. same thing on the NVR. Try it on a computer.

You may be out of luck. Those are wifi only. All the wifi cameras I've added including q-see had an option to plug into my network and set up the wifi. If you can get the the q-see app or qc view to add them you would then need to use open vpn as stated above.

Q-See QCA7209B cameras are BNC and will not work with the Dahua NVR. You need to either use a home VPN through your router or start over.
