I've been in communication with Andy and I've been quoted a $100-$150 USD to have Dahuah patch the firmware to remove the artificial movement limitation. Right now due to C19 in China, things are a bit delayed. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we can get this addressed.

Yea, for sure. What irks me is the artificial limit. It's not like the camera is broken. I'm use to repairing stuff. So when it stops working, I'll replace the broken part in it. But someone laughed at me when I suggested that as I guess it's not easy to get parts.

From what I read, Andy's company can modify the firmware directly. If that is the case, then they can remove the PTZ movement limitaiton. Andy has only treated me right so far. Been very helpful. But I have not had to warranty anything yet. Everything has mostly just worked.

Usually Usually when I had the problem when it was not working, I just change the station ID to another one. But that is not working any longer. It's probably WU that is having the issues.

So am I assuming that BI Tools weather polling still works for some? I could not get it to work since March on any of the dozen or so station ID in Castle Rock, Colorado and I finally removed the overlays in late April.
