Dahua 5442 (IPC-T5442TM-AS-3.6mm) - need help for improving night performance

Thanks, I will physically adjust the camera. How do I force the cam to stay in BW mode once it switched? I don’t want to have static times, so will have to check if there is a script possibility. I am already having a variable in iobroker, which gives me day/night for my shutters management

IPC-T5442T-ZE IPC-T5442TM-AS IPC-T5842T-ZE SMD 3.0 Smart IR Latest New Firmware From EmpireTech

what I notices with the new firmware: I cannot set 8192kb/s while on 15 frames / 15 i-frames and H.265. The max CBR is then allowed with 7424kb/s. I was under the impression that with the older firmware, this was possible. On H.264 I still can select 15fps with 8192.

Dahua NVRs motion record with scheduled record skips frames

I have the NVR5208 4kS2 (non POE) edition with 5 Dahua 5442 Cams and have noticed this behaviour too. However, I cannot have in sync the settings in each camera. Advice on Dahua Cameras

@garycrist What is a waste on ground? Don't know what you mean? Also with your following posts. @sebastiantombs thanks this is helpful. As the distance from house to fence is less than 4m, the 2.8mm should be really enough.

It says: 2.8 mm: Horizontal: 95°; Vertical: 52°; Diagonal: 114° , so can I assume that this is per cam on the IPC-HDBW5441F-AS-E2 (so in total 190°?) 3.6 mm: Horizontal: 78°; Vertical: 41°; Diagonal: 94° and here in total 156°

Dahua IPC unbricking / recovery over serial UART and TFTP

Dear all: I have a question - I am trying to fix a VTO2000A-C, which cannot be found in VDPConfig. However the VTO boots up (lights go on) and also reacts on pressing the ring with replies (no device found, etc.). So I was trying to flash via UART. I bought an USB to TTL stick and it looks...
