Good ideas. I had a 4k cam that was having issues at h.265 and setting it to 264 worked, should've done it with this cam too but missed that. I set the bitrate to 8192 and it is at maxed zoom. Thanks

Dumb question but is it possible for cameras to be damaged by them being pointing at other cameras with IR on during night time? I have multiple cameras pointing in the general direction of each other and wasn't sure of any long term issues to this but I assume it's fine.

A Chinook flew by my house yesterday and although I didn't see it, it sounded like a Chinook. Two more flew by today and was able to capture it on the SD49225XA-HNR.

Do you keep your sharpness at the same level during day time? Or do you run the night profile at all times? I recently got the IPC-B5442E-Z4E from Andy and I am trying to maximize readability of license plate captures.

I got another camera and been setting it up. I accidentally set the shutter speed to 333.33-333.33ms and the picture understandably went white and I reverted it. Would that damage the camera in any way or is that fine and have no effect? Thank you.

Just realized there's no IR with this model but my question still stands with dome cameras in general.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I thought since it's away from the elements then it should be fine. Sometimes the garage door is open for long parts of the day but it shouldnt get direct sunlight

Considering getting the SD22204UE-GN, a dome PTZ camera, to place inside a pole barn as it's a good fit. I understand domes are not great for long term use due to the dome itself causing glare and what not but I was wondering if this applies to indoor use as well? Just collecting thoughts...

I was just looking at the pfb203w for mounting it to the wall. I have a similar camera coming and I want to mount it to the eve. Would I need a bracket for that if it's under the eve or would be okay if it was mounted directly under the eve withoit the bracket. Thanks
