    Hikvision/ezviz firmware

Hi, I've got an Ezviz X5C-8 DVR and a couple of C3Ws cams. I've got root on the DVR and I'm interested if anybody knows how the core software on it works (hicore, I think). As far as I can tell it's basically identical to the normal one bundled with other hikvision products but with certain...

Ezviz (hikvision) cameras disconnecting from NVR WiFi network

Possibly, do you know if there's a way to check camera firmware via the command line on the NVR? This is an idea. It would require me to purchase smart plugs though, and seems slightly overkill when the cameras themselves are probably up and running fine still, just some buggy code or...

Ezviz (hikvision) cameras disconnecting from NVR WiFi network

This is true, but it's irrelevant as even when I restart the NVR the camera doesn't connect. Plus, I can connect something like my phone to the NVR fine. To me it seems like sometimes when the camera drops WiFi connection, it just doesn't rejoin.

Ezviz (hikvision) cameras disconnecting from NVR WiFi network

I've got an ezviz nvr and a ezviz c3w. The c3w is mounted outside, but should be within the wifi range, however occasionally it disconnects from the wifi and needs restarting. Clearly this isn't great from a security device (although I understand wifi isn't ideal). Anybody else experience these...

    ezviz firmware

I'm trying another approach: seeing if I can work out how the serial connection is being blocked. I think maybe this device has 16MB flash, so I ran: sf probe 0 sf read 0x82000000 0x0 0x1000000 #setenv for the ip stuff tftp 0x82000000 flash.bin 0x1000000 but every time tftp seemed to crash...

    ezviz firmware

Yes! The 'b' command worked! Just curious - is there any documentation on this sort of thing or do you know from experience :)? I ran setenv bootargs mem=180M console=ttyS1,115200 init=/bin/sh, saveenv, and reset but I still run into the password once booted. My printenv output right now looks...

    ezviz firmware

Hi, I've got an Ezviz X5C-8 DVR and a couple of C3Ws cams. They're all Chinese models and their firmware is all Chinese. Is it a bad idea (or even possible) to connect them to the ezviz cloud? I have them blocked from the internet at the moment and am accessing them via RTSP. I can connect to...
