I ordered another one of the 5MP Dahua's and placed it in an area that has alot of ambient light from landscape lighting. It's not switching to BW/IR automatically. What are some different config changes I can make to force it into night mode?

Anybody have both the 4k and the 5 megapixel? Hows the night vision compare? IIRC the 4K is more of a starlight cam?

I changed the buffer to 20MB and same thing happened...Its interesting that it doesn't happen suddenly or all at the same time. Each dahua camera started after a couple hours, 1 every 30 -45 minutes is it possible it has something to do with drivers, firmware, etc on my PC?

Any resolution to this? One by one several of my cameras started doing this. I disabled hardware accelleration and the problem went away but my CPU usage increased. This started after an update a couple months ago impacted a variety of dahua OEM import cameras but not two Hikvisions that I've...

Where did you dig up that code? Any chance there is a new one that is valid?

Ok tried the new version is standard mode and it’s working. Seems the problem is only occurs g now when I run it as a service.

I did an update and after that I kept having 3 of 6 cameras get scrambled. Restarting the cam would fix for a couple hours. I rolled back to 52510 and same result. I stopped running it as a service, and it seems OK. Does anyone have a plan for this?

I have a similar issue where its blank for the first few seconds of the clip then it comes on. Any ideas on that?
