    I have a BNC system that I want to upgrade and am in a similar situation as you. I want to keep the current wiring since it was put in with new construction. My plan is to go with the Dahua ePOE system, which will allow me to use a smaller/cheaper device pair (LR1002) at each end of the coax.

    Since both of OP's suggestions for the NVR and Camera are ePOE, couldn't he just use the passive, LR1002's on each end, instead of the LR1002-1EC/T that you linked to? I'm in a similar situation and was hoping I could go that route?

    Passive Ethernet Over Coax & DC Power Supply?

    Could you explain how you powered the IP Cams? From my understanding, IP cams dont have a place for a power/barrel connector, so would it be possible to use existing DC power from an old analog setup? The passive EoC adapters dont look like they have an input for barrel power either.
