    Just tested the motion detection at the Synology Surveillance System: it works great! I selected that the SSS detects the motion (not the camera) and when it detects motion it will send a push message. So I get a message at my Apple Watch when the SSS detects motion :D

    That is using the Synology SS NAS-based motion analytics, not sure if it work with the camera notifications.

    Yes I took the ONVIF profile, check the attached image. It's just that simple to set it up. And yes, you can get the full functionality from the SSS. :) Translation*: Apparaatinstellingen = device settings, Naam = name, Poort = port, Merk = brand, Gebruikersnaam = username, Wachtwoord = password.

    The camera just arrived. I had problems finding it in my network at 192.168.1.168, with the installation disc I finally found the camera at 192.168.1.222. I hooked the cam up to my Synology with the Synology Surveillance Station and it was surprisingly easy to setup, so I can confirm the S500...
