works great once it’s done! Only issue I have is that the zwave sensor will get stuck on the open position sometimes and not auto close itself but it’s infrequent enough that I don’t care to troubleshoot it

you can activate anything so long as it has the same ability as the zwave switch. Sorry I dont recall anything about the wiring I did as it’s been years and I only did it once. I believe I typed out most of it in this thread though.

Good to know, I wont update! but either way, changing the value doesnt make the image any brighter - only makes your dark night image colorful or B/W.

Yes with values Auto, colorful, and B/W. Mine is set to auto but is dark at night. I just thought that this unit does not have IR on it. I dont see any red LED's at night on the camera so I figured I didnt. Changing the modes does not give me a nice IR night shot like my other dahua cameras.

Not sure. It's POE, and im not sure if something like that exists? power is fed through the RJ45 port, through 803.11 spec.

No I went with the dahua VTO and got a zwave sensor working with motion AND with button press on the unit

Also suggestion: in the web interface when you download a clip it should be in a converted format such as avi or mp4 not bvr, since you would rarely be in the web interface on the computer which can play a bvr file

EDIT: nevermind it seems in the new version it seperates alerts and clips, in the old version it did not issue solved, i think Alright, well. Not all of my recent clips are showing up in the beta interface, but when I go back to the normal interface I can see all my latest clips...

Yes that was the question. So if we install the current beta - when the actual update comes along - will it just over-write our beta files or will we need to do more manual work at that time to switch it back over to default?

Any ETA on when this will be alpha in a software update?
