5 MegaGixel 1/1.8" low light destroyer for $90-AVOID LONGSE JUNK

Well, this is getting off topic here: I don't think a camera discourage thieves in 90% of all cases. If they want to rob you, they will. In the backyard stood two cars when they tried to get in the house. For me this means, hey maybe there's someone at home, they tried anyway. Luckily I was at...

First of all, thanks for the critic. Well, the front metal sheet is folded at the bottom. The rear metal sheet ends at 3/4 of the hole. So the very top of the hole (where the slit is) consists of one layer metal sheet, whereas everything else is double layer metal sheet. To prevent rain drain...

I had problems with stability, too. What helped was in first instance to restart the camera by pluging out power. Soft restart through cameras web interface didn't work. And since I stop using any android apps, to get the livestream from the camera the camera is stable since over a week. I guess...

5 MegaGixel 1/1.8" low light destroyer for $90-AVOID LONGSE JUNK

The camera runs stable, as long as I don't open to much streams while playing in config. It seems to be a bit sensitive. Another question, is it somehow possible to increase the recording time? It's now set to 10 seconds, which is pretty few. The problem is, when there is like 30 seconds motion...

Are there any recommendations for a simple android video player app, that supports this tcp rtsp stream? The only one thats working for me is "onvifer" but the stream crashes sometimes and it's packed with way to much stuff to make settings on the camera. Best, Patrick

Yes just tried it. In VLC in Windows everything is fine, but I can't open them on the raspberry. The recorded avis work as well in omxplayer, but this rtsp stream is really a pain. Another question, rtsp doesn't work on android phones as well. Maybe this hangs together?

What network cable do you guys use to connect the camera to? I asking, because there's not much space in this water protective cable connector. Do you just cut off the bend protection of a regular cable or do you crimp you own cable for it?

Okay than I also understand, why this Option is so far away from the others. Have a look on the screenshot here: Guess this option is only shown, if your resolution is higher than FHD. If I make the window smaller, it disappears.

Finally my LBK60S500 arrived. Actually im playing a bit in the settings. Is there an option that the IR led stay off? When I go to the "Image" menu, there is an "On / Off IRLED" option, but if I mark Off and hit OK button the IRLED still turns on, when it's dark. Any ideas?
