In the full Blue Iris app, you can right click a cancelled alert and Confirm Alert and the alert moves to the Confirmed Alerts list. In UI3, you can right click alerts and Mark as AI-Confirmed but all that appears to do is give the alert a checkmark? It doesn't move the alert to the Confirmed...

Hi, this tool has been great. As an update to this script, rather than creating dummy yellow jpgs, couldn't you extract the AI confirmed jpg like you do in your other script? The resolution wouldn't be good but probably still pretty clear as a small thumbnail.

I guess the system isn't really designed to keep 4,000 alerts protected lol. It sounds like eventually the entire NEW/STORED drive could be filled with protected BVR until there's no option to manage/delete them.

It's defintely been an issue for a while (and probably why we've had so few alerts recently...). According to the logs, the locked number has slowly been increasing since at least September (when I started saving log files). Any chance like I asked originally, it has to do with Protected Alert...

I just noticed the following BI Warning. I'm assuming this is a continuation of the above issue. Only a warning, no errors in BI. Storage looks ok. Things seem to be recording ok maybe? We have seemed to have fewer alerts the past week or so.. I'm wondering if things aren't saving as they should...

It may have been my fault entirely...I unchecked everything for the BI User not understanding what access it needed. Now I'm guessing it needs at least View' Clips :facepalm: It might have worked otherwise.

Any idea why editing the memo in BI to add a "!" isn't working? It shows up in BI properly, but when I scan the DAT files with your tool it doesn't show up. Also, Windows also doesn't the change the "Date Modified" of the DAT file, so I'm guessing the change isn't saving properly? I tried...

I figured out the problem in case anyone runs into the same thing in the future. It was in fact related to PTZ presets changing the Day/Night picture settings. Since the camera is also a PTZ spotter camera, moving the PTZ to Preset 1 when triggered, it also inadvertently set itself to [PTZ]...
