Wide Red Background Column with MP3 Files Named

Thank you for the clarification. I used CCleaner and CCleaner calls them plug-ins. But, within Edge, I see now that they are called extensions.

Wide Red Background Column with MP3 Files Named

I think I discovered the culprit: I disabled all the Edge plug-ins (a bunch of Bitdefender plugins and 2 from MS -- IE to Edge conversion) and the problem is no longer there. Thank you guys!

Wide Red Background Column with MP3 Files Named

I'm not familiar with it. I see the hovering over DEV TOAST WRAPPER highlights the area of interest on the html page, but that's as far as I get. The red text with MP3 files named disaappears after about 10-15 seconds. Perhaps this makes sense to you: ui3.htm:516 [Intervention] Images loaded...

Wide Red Background Column with MP3 Files Named

    How?

    2 Server

Got it -- thank you all for your patience and help. Can I switch between "local" and remote" views from a UI3 view (browser tab)?

    2 Server

Not that I can find: https://blueirissoftware.com/BlueIris.PDF

    2 Server

I don’t see anything about connecting server to server.

    2 Server

I split the cameras across the servers in 2 different locations and have a browser window from each.

    2 Server

Absolutely. I have Wireguard across all my sites, so I can open a browser tab to 192.168.x.x:81. Makes things very nice indeed.

    2 Server

Thank you. Yes, I have. I surely could be missing something (no expert here). I've been using BI for a number of years and regularly use UI3 to monitor, and VNC or Teamviewer to remotely config. I've seen mention of BI servers working together (but at different locations), and that's what...

    2 Server

I've really been struggling with this. I have site A running BI5 with 10 cameras, and I have site B running BI5 with 8 cameras. Is there a way to connect them? Associate them? Make them a master/slave? The goal is to be able to view all 18 camera from offsite (call it site C) without...

    Remote Locations via VPN

    Am I doing this right?

    Remote Locations via VPN

This would be a great solution. So I already have substreams identified in the VIDEO tab. Here is the config pages from one of the remote cams. I don't know how to tell if the continuous feed is using the main or sub stream? And, will it switch to main stream if the camera is triggered and...

    Remote Locations via VPN

Thanks for the suggestion. I wonder if I a real cheap mini-pc (N09050, 8GB, 256GB) would work? In order to view the cameras, I would have to have a separate viewing session for each BI server, right?

    Remote Locations via VPN

I've had BI running for a few years now on a Windows 10 PC (ie-7100, 32GB RAM). There are 11 local cameras (hardwired via a dedicated POE switch) on a subnet of their own (192.168.5.x) to a dedicated NIC in the PC (the other NIC is on 192.168.0.x). There are 2 cameras that are at a remote site...

VPN -- Stream and Record on Demand?

I've got 2 cameras at a remote site from the BI server site. The 2 sites are connected by a Wireguard VPN and it works fine. But, the 2 cameras create a continuous flow of data between the sites at a rate of 10Mbps. Is there a way of configuring BI so that only when I'm remotely logged into...

    IPC-Color4k-X with Passive POE

I ordered an 802.11AF/AT injector and will install. I've googled the difference between passive and active (i.e., devices that conform to one of the standards such as 801.11af or at) and it seems conforming to the standard means there is a negotiation or handshake between poe providing device...

    IPC-Color4k-X with Passive POE

I'm having a hard time getting a IPC-Color4k-X to work using POE from a Mikrotik hAP ac3 router/AP. The Mikrotik specs indicate that it has passive POE (not 802.1af or at). Does anyone have any experience with this working or not working? Thanks!

    Camera on 2" mast

I ordered several types and will test and report back. Thank you!

    Camera on 2" mast

I assume you mean the hose clamp. Good idea. Not sure if it would work but worth a shot. Thank you!
  23. J

    Camera on 2" mast

That would be great, but it the specs are accurate, the minimum mast size is 3.15" Mast Diameter ɸ 80~1 5 0mm ɸ 3.15 ””~5.91

    When/Where to use 8MP-1/1.2 vs. 4MP-1/1.8?

Great info! So (all else being equal) an 8MP/1.2 can be described as 'somewhat better' or '33% farther DORI distance' than a 4MP/1.8 camera. I'll stop bugging you guys -- I think i understand enough now to feel comfortable concluding that (even) a 4MP/1.8 would be a huge improvement over my...

    When/Where to use 8MP-1/1.2 vs. 4MP-1/1.8?

that’s extremely helpful. Thank you. I’m sure I’m being extra slow, but could you describe a situation or environment where a 4K/1.2 camera would perform better?

    When/Where to use 8MP-1/1.2 vs. 4MP-1/1.8?

Understood that the sensor size doesn't change. I can't say I understand what exactly does happen when one configures a camera at a lower-than-maximum resolution.

    When/Where to use 8MP-1/1.2 vs. 4MP-1/1.8?

I'm wondering if there are general guidelines for when 8MP-1/1.2 cameras would be smarter to use vs. 4MP-1/1.8 cameras? Is a 1/1.2 always better (i.e., would turning down the 8MP camera to 4MP yield a better image than a 4MP-1/1.8 camera? Thank you!

    Totally confused about FPS/key

Wowee! What a fantastic explanation of MP vs. Focal Length. So, ideally, (almost) every location would have 2 cameras (or maybe 3): wide to show as much as possible, and 1 or 2 optically zoomed for detail. So why would someone spend the money on a budget 4k camera instead of a 4 or 5MP...

    Totally confused about FPS/key

Thank you. Quite a few are outside cameras and the higher resolution (greater detail) is very useful. Could you recommend 8mp/4K cameras in the sub-$200 range? Here's what it looks like:
