everything.txt is actually the file I'm using for the overlay, but I tried your suggestion and unchecked it, then clicked the Update Weather / Save button. The precipitation.txt file reflected an immediate Modified time of 5/19/2016 11:43 AM but still contained the value of 0.00 for the data...

They are both set to the KAUS station...I thought I had typed that in the post, but I must've missed it.
