Just a quick add to say that I've also had issues - had to turn off AI today as python has been running at 100% CPU. Not sure exactly when it started as I only use this to monitor my cats, but I did install the latest version of CP during the week. I've disabled AI in BI and am now back at 3% CPU.

Hi - thanks for this. I finally got around to trying it today, and while it is still not 100% reliable, it is nevertheless far more accurate than the other models I tried (at least, for cats). It is pretty good at detecting people though.

Okay, so I uninstalled CP1.6.6, rebooted, reinstalled CP1.6.5 and it's all perfect now (using just object detection). It's recording the cats, and ignoring the people, just how I want.

Before upgrading, I could get it ungreyed by selecting Auto start/stop. Othertimes, I was able to access it by stopping the Codeproject service. On the latest versions, it isn't an issue.

You need to select the 'use custom model' option and deselect the 'default object detection' option

For me, I had to stop the AI service first, then the checkbox was available in BI. I made my selection, then turned the AI service back on. Don't know if that will work for you. Since upgrading to BI 5.6.2.3 and AI 1.6.5, I no longer have to bounce the Service.
