    Ken got back to me, he said it was indeed a bug. Seems to be fixed in the very latest release.

    I am having a similar problem, with plenty of free space available but still getting warnings. I have emailed BI support and opened a case with them.

    I received a response from BU support: It is the "extra" space on the drive over and above what's required by Blue Iris ... as set on Options/Clips.

    It's much smaller than the amount of space used by all clips on each drive. For example on the D drive I am useing about 1.3 TB for clips at the moment.
