I finally took time to look at this and it's awesome. Do you think we need to worry about it being upgraded or wiped out? Thank you

Looks Like Internet Explorer Died Today

Okay guys, I really don't know why but I had to setup IE compatibility mode again. For some reason it was not recognizing that the IE interface that I was using on the other cameras was using backwards compatibility for IE even though the IE Icon over on the right was showing up. For some reason...

Looks Like Internet Explorer Died Today

I removed it from Chrome. I tried to go into Internet Explorer and get this message. I don't understand why Dahau can't make a tool we can use to get consistant results. Yes I know we are a very small portion of the population that uses these cameras but it gets frustrating. I do have an email...

Looks Like Internet Explorer Died Today

I have an interesting scenario. I have been using Internet Explorer to access my Dahua cameras no problem at all. I still have access to them and can change settings and all. That being said, I just got a new camera from Andy yesterday (different models than I had before) and using the same...

    CodeProject.AI Version 2.0

I still can't even get the License Plate Recognition to install properly.

    CodeProject.AI Version 2.0

I could be wrong because I can’t even get mine to work on the CPU but if I am not mistaken the version that when it loads it automatically looks to see if you have a compatible GPU. If you don’t, it loads the CPU version.

I got my door cam up and running now. Everything is working well on BI as well as my NVR. The OpenALPR is working great so now 1 more camera to go out front and I should be covered. Thanks for everyone's help.

I finally think I have the ALPR camera mounted where it will be permanent. Seems to be working well.

I got the 5442 2.8 and I think it's going to work outwell, which brings me to one more camera question. I am looking for a 180 degree camera so I can possibly cover the full front of my house with 1 camera. What is your thought on the IPC-Color4k-T180 that Andy sells. It looks like there were...

    CodeProject.AI Version 2.0

I find it interesting people are complaining about a free product that may or may not work for them. If the free product does not work for you, maybe move to another product that does. I happen to use OpenALPR at the moment, mainly because I am new and want to make sure my current setup works...

I decided to start looking at this today. Do you just follow the videos posted? I tried finding the PDF that is mentioned and it takes me back to the original page but then I click on the PDF link and it brings me back here to the thread you shared.

    New to NVR request direction

Hmmmm good question. That camera is about 8-10 feet from my front door. I guess it wouldn't be a bad thing to be able to Identify someone but mainly for observing. As far as light, I would say, even though we do leave the front porch lights on, I ought to assume very little light if they are...

    New to NVR request direction

I just figured I would keep the thread I started for another question. I am wanting to replace an old outdated camera that was left on my front porch from the previous owners of the house. Since the camera recommendation of the LPR camera you all recommended turned out so well, I just thought I...

    New to NVR request direction

I may do this a little later. It looks like I would have to install a few more things on my machine as well as understand some C# and create some databases? It's been a long long time since I have messes with any of that. Suggested setup includes the following, all on a single Windows machine...

Oh man, I will have to look into that. Thanks, that's exactly what I would like to be able to do, help with problems in our neighborhood. They seem to have risen in the last couple years. I wasn't exactly sure how to get Plate Recognizer to work just yet. I wasn't sure if my free sign up would...

Yeah CodeProject is giving me a little issue, but I am sure it will work out in the long run. OpenALPR seems go do well but I would like to have the integration into BI. I will get there.
