    VPN Primer for Noobs

Did you ever get this to work? The email doesn't always work on an iPhone. I uploaded my file to Icloud then opened the Files app on the phone. I clicked on the file, opened it in OpenVPN Connect then just had to enter my username and password. I'm having a problem I might ask about here if...

Send Pushover notifications with pictures and hyperlinks

The port is included already, see screenshot. I’m trying to force it open in Chrome but you can see the http:// is not changeable on the web server tab. Although I’m not entirely sure if the &LAN adds it or if it pulls it from that field. I can access ui3 fine from Chrome. I’m just trying to...

Send Pushover notifications with pictures and hyperlinks

I use pushover on my iphone and I do not have Chrome set as the default browser. Neither is Safari. I digress. I was looking into methods of forcing Chrome to open with the pushover alert links so I can leave my phone settings alone. To force IOS to use Chrome replace http with...

Dual NIC setup on your Blue Iris Machine

Turn off Window Defender’s firewall and see if your phone can open UI3. Are you using the same IP address for LAN on the webserver settings? To change it, the grayed out box below it is a dropdown. You want this to be 192.168.1.1. Post the BI version you’re using too. Someone else may have...

How to setup Dahua IVS with BlueIris?

Because I hate myself, I updated the firmware back to 2022-8-18 on one camera only. I got IVS triggers to work when I turned off authentication for ONVIF. For some reason BI is not accepting the ONVIF password or the camera is not sending it on the newer firmware. I updated to the latest...

How to setup Dahua IVS with BlueIris?

When I first took the cameras out the box last month, no. I just clicked upgrade! Today, I reset it 3 times, upgraded firmware to 2022-8-12, then reset it 3 times again. Did a manual setup. It did not work. I did not adjust the Video camera name under video configure, it was pulled in as...

How to setup Dahua IVS with BlueIris?

None of my cameras work with IVS. Got them in February, updated the firmware on all to match. I didn't delete the camera but added a new one with only IVS settings. I have rebooted the computer but will do so again now. I need to take a break and eat lunch.

How to setup Dahua IVS with BlueIris?

Sorry for the long post. I think I lost some as I kept rereading this thread to see if I missed anything. I have been struggling to get IVS alerts working. I am on the same BI version as well as using the same dahua camera and firmware version as another member that only uses IVS. I'm just...

    Backyard trees and darkness

I got 7 cameras up. I'm done for now haha. Here are some installation pics. A 3/4" conduit flex pipe that is 10 feet long was fed over concrete block punched through the foam insulation barrier and put in the attic. Then I tried to seal the foam gap in the attic where I had about 6 inches of...

    Backyard trees and darkness

No, I did not use the global schedule. The instructions I followed were per camera and BI has the sunset and sunrise times, it has the time correct on my cameras so I am assuming it's using windows. I do have @s in the password. I'll change that tomorrow to see if it fixes things, I thought...

I do have that box checked. I unchecked it. Thank you. I am not using a SC card. My cameras don't seem to be dropping signal. I was adjusting settings in the GUI and posted a screen shot of BI status. It showed one camera at 7fps. Here is where the FPS normally stays. Sometimes a few...

I bought it because you had it :) I tried to avoid electrical wiring but near impossible going across the house. I reset the Blue Iris Status. Hopefully the log will show the FPS history, it is mostly close to 15fps then sometimes goes down to mid 13fps or up to 16fps.
