Exactly this! And UI3 is excellent

BI uses keyframe timing from the substream when displaying the main stream , atleast with dahua this imparts the momentary pause when viewing the mainstream either on the console or remotely. spent countless hours trying to solve.

This happens with substreams enabled , even with key frames and fps matching , seems to be a timing issue with the substream keyframe interval causing the paus. I no longer use substreams to solve this.

I fixed some wierdness with ptz lag on this camera by grabbing the mcu file for the camera from dahuas site under the firmware tab. It updated the ptz core software to V2.401.0000001.57.RHNDG_221213_43548

Yeah I totally get that , daytime performance is terrible also , I’m trying to address that for $200 if possible Motion has strange digital blur , it seems this was a issue others had with this camera here also.

i just installed a new 2779ew and i have these strange specks all over on night vision , almost like there is table salt in front of the camera. its completely clean. i will post a picture , zoom in and you can see it easily , defective camera or just junk? or normal? opinions wanted.
