    Will head home soon to give it a go. But.. Switches do not assign IP addresses. Also.. the 10.1.1.x range is that mirroring the Ip address you give the switch, or doed it have an inward facing set of IP addresses regardless of the NVRs external facing one?

    ???? I have setthe IP addresses of the cameras. They are not set to DHCP. Should they be? Can the NVIR act as a router?

    The cameras are plugged into the PoE ports on teh back of the NVR. There are no switches in teh system. The NVR is not connected to the internet. I will take a screenshot when I get home tonight. Thanks.
