BI5 didn't import me as a user (from v4) so I tried to add me (my username). It lets me add myself but not as an admin. It lets me check admin, but when I close the edit user screen and open it back up, I'm just a normal user again. What am I doing wrong?

That is super interesting! Not being able to import my settings is a no-go however. It would take hours to get all my settings configured again.

I understand your graphs, they are very clear. With the load in your test and if one was to build a computer for BI, it is cheaper to buy a run a Ryzen system. The negligible power savings the 8700k gives you would never make up the cheaper up front cost of a Ryzen system.
