I tried sharing between my phone and ipad. Because they both use the same email address, it won't allow it. Is there something I'm missing? I don't feel like creating another email address just to get around this.

In the Device page, it shows the NVR as online. But under Third-party DDNS it shows failed to load. I'm guessing that might be part of my problem?

OK. I was able to add the NVR local, then log into the account and have both. Maybe because the account was created earlier on another device?

I found reference that this could be done, but not the instructions. I'll keep digging. When she gets home I'll snag her phone and start trying things to see what works. Is there a workaround for each person having multiple devices? Without creating multiple email addresses.

Interesting results. Created a local device using the IP address. That does allow me to save the alarm push message selection. I went out and walked in front of the cameras a bunch of times, had a long list of alarms on my phone lock screen. That was good. Once I selected one of those and...

It gets more interesting. In DMSS I can enable the push notifications for each type of detection for each camera. Save it. Come back and nothing is selected. No errors or warnings when I save the settings. At this point, I can't tell what is not working versus what is limited in the "local"...

DMSS wanted to create an account using my email address "to get all features". So I guess it is logging into their system first, then into my local NVR. Maybe I'll try deleting that from my phone and just going direct to the NVR and see just what features I am missing?
