    It is the opposite for me but my PTZ5A4M is located higher up facing an open area while the mini is facing large trees with hedges that sometimes block the lower half of someone walking by.

    Could be bots trying to mass exploit the vulnerability mentioned at 9,000 Asus routers compromised by botnet attack and persistent SSH backdoor that even firmware updates can't fix. Sometimes the exploit does not work but cause stability issues.

    Were both cameras mounted at the same location? It looked to me like the MiniPTZ was mounted higher.

    Looks like it is someone's personal site running on Wordpress with no updates since 2018. Probably hacked as Wordpress plugin vulnerabilities are common.
