AI motion detection with BlueIris: an alternate approach

Try using the IP address of the computer instead of localhost.

AI motion detection with BlueIris: an alternate approach

If my folder gets to 100 images, the CPU for the trigger docker goes up to 80% constant. Does yours do that? I'm only experimenting with 1 camera, but I have 20 altogether....

AI motion detection with BlueIris: an alternate approach

Thanks for the quick suggestion. Yeah. I followed his video and set it to 1GB and left the days. I've set it to an hour and we'll see. Anyway you can have it delete the images after they are processed by deepstack?

AI motion detection with BlueIris: an alternate approach

Had an issue this morning. Used Bi UI3 to view my cameras and noticed that my CPU was 80%+. This should only be around 25%+/-. Determined that the trigger docker was showing 85-95% CPU usage. Restarting the container(s) and Docker altogether didn't help. What did help was deleting all the...

AI motion detection with BlueIris: an alternate approach

Great work. First time Windows 10 (2004) Docker user. I can't for the life of me get the image paths correct. What exactly should I be using if the files are at "P:\Security\images" in the config and trigger files?

    Bad POE Switch?

Troubleshooting things like switches/cameras is just a process of elimination as far as power and connectivity go. So if we can eliminate the issue one piece at a time, we'll end up at the culprit. If another camera does the same thing, then it's most likely the switch. Then try different ports...

    Bad POE Switch?

We'll know more when you test another camera. But, you don't need to know anything special to use the PoE switch.

    Bad POE Switch?

Correct. The only time this would be different is if it was a managed switch. But, that would still be plug 'n play unless you required specific VLAN requirements.

    Bad POE Switch?

Do you have another camera you can test? One camera is an anomaly; another camera is a repeatable pattern. Of course, try different ports. And, make sure the PoE requirements of the camera do not exceed the switch (af or at - can't run an at camera on an af switch).

Lightning killed my PTZ - Need recommendation for replacement

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm checking it out now. Do you know if it will take URL commands to trigger preset positions (I do this with the Sunba using SmartThings)? I have driveway sensors and when they get triggered I have the PTZ point to those positions in the driveway...

Lightning killed my PTZ - Need recommendation for replacement

I've had the Sunba 601-D20X for a couple of years. Had a lightning strike this weekend that took out all networking gear (2 PoE 16 port switches and 2 8-port switches). Fortunately, the switches and the Sunba (out of 16 PoE cameras and countless other networked devices) were all that were...

    Blue Iris UI3

Hope I didn't miss this, but, using the latest Beta (and some versions before), if I'm viewing clips that auto play then go full screen '`', the clips stop at the end of the clip that was playing.

    Fixed Zoom 20-30X IP Camera?

Is there such a thing? I have a driveway gate 600ft from the nearest building. I need to see who is there at all times. I can do this now with a 20X PTZ, but I'd rather use that for something else more fitting.

    Blue Iris UI3

That sounds like it may work and someone could then quickly scroll through them and see a clear image of what is in the thumbnail. FWIW, my BI is on a local server and my development computer is what I use throughout the day so this new interface is very welcome and removes most (if not all) of...

    Blue Iris UI3

Thanks for the quick response! Zooming isn't really practical in my usage unfortunately. And it's not the vertical space that's an issue (I had already collapsed the other elements on the page). I have a BenQ GW2765HT monitor (1440p @ 27") and I had the browser window maximized. It's just the...

    Blue Iris UI3

First impression... It's great! My only request/suggestion is to have the clips snapshot image larger. I like to review some outdoor cameras for wildlife/etc. and the small size makes it hard to determine if there is anything there or if it was just a false alert from passing cards/bugs...
