I never see trigger events during playback. I still receive notifications for trigger events within my set schedule, but these are not visible during playback on hik-connect in neither of my 5 cameras

Having the same issue with events. Although i get notifications on events, the marking (ie green human marking) on the timeline in hik-connect is missing. Noticed that after recently updating hik-connect app. Setup of 2047g2s and 2347g2h on 7608nxi-k1. No settings were messed with

Ok i realise that it will revert to a lower quality sub-stream broadcast on live view of some channels if bandwith is exceeded. Is recording also affected if it is set to record in main stream?

I see the specs, however i don't have any problem in simultaneous live view of all 5 cameras at max resolution and in recording. What is the NVR actually restricting?

i have 5 4mp cameras connected on a 7608nxi-k1 nvr and i get the playback limit exceeded message right after updating the firmware. No other issues during simultaneous playback, instant load of live view, single or multiple playback, event triggering and notification etc. everything works...

When using the IR light from another camera, i can see no visible difference in the live view of Hikvision camera. I guess this confirms its inability to see IR light. Nevertheless, the image quality during nightime even in complete darkness is not bad, although with some noise

I have a battery IR camera that i will use tonight to see if the Hikvision one can detect its light.

Thank you for your reply. One thing i've noticed is that when i point a tv control at the camera, i see a flashing light coming from the control at the push of button. Isn't this an indication of the camera's ability to see IR?

hello. Since i have installed 4 of the cameras as per the title, i have noticed that they have trouble in motion detection during night time. I don't want to have the white light on all the time, so i have set it to go on only when motion is detected. And this rarely happens due to the issue...
