Andy, on the Dahua website they have it available in black. Can you get one for me?

Socket Error 10054. Error code 80002746

I had the same issue. Changed the IP address, and the camera started working fine. Must be something corrupted for that IP in blue iris somewhere.

How to clone a single camera stream multiple times (for hardware testing).

I'm not sure it's a recent change or not. If you add another camera identically in Blue Iris with no changes, it will not add another bitrate (just like a cloned camera). When you make no other changes to a new camera except a different login, it adds a second bitrate. You can also confirm in...

How to clone a single camera stream multiple times (for hardware testing).

I found out from a previous post. You need to create a new login account on the IP camera itself for each new connection. Then create a new camera duplicate with the new login for each one.

How to clone a single camera stream multiple times (for hardware testing).

I tried duplicating the cameras without either being the clone master, and they both just use one stream. I know there's a way to trick blue iris into processing the one stream as multiples.

How to clone a single camera stream multiple times (for hardware testing).

How can I clone one camera stream multiple times to test my blue iris hardware? I would like to see how many cameras my system will take based on different camera configs before it bogs down. It would be much easier to just use one camera, and have blue iris decode the same stream multiple times.

EmpireTech IPC-Color4K-X is an amazing weather cam

Thank you bp2008 for those snapshots. I'm redoing my Blue Iris hardware now as well. Looking for a deal on a threadripper since I have about 20 cams and I like to run 4k@30fps.

EmpireTech IPC-Color4K-X is an amazing weather cam

How quality is the video doing standard 4k/30fps? Based on your review, it should do excellent for night time security as well.

FPS fluctuation on the remote web UI3 connection

I want to add that the recorded video when played back does NOT have any dropped frames. Only when viewing live do you notice the frame stutters.

FPS fluctuation on the remote web UI3 connection

When running my cams at 4k@30fps on the web interface, there is a drop in framerate from 30fps to 12-15fps (for about a second) then back to 30fps. This repeats about every 7 seconds. I have 20 cameras on my gigabit network which range from 4-8mp, and high end hardware (i9 cpu, 32gb ram, ssd)...

Help needed, Is it (possible) to load Dahua firmware on lorex lnb9272s ???

Just to update an older post, the LNB9232 may show 25fps in the drop down, but when streaming with VLC it will show 29.97fps. It will only do this at 4k with H264. At 4k with H265 the max it will do is 25fps.

    Hikvision ColorVu + 4K (DS-2CD2087G2-L)

Can anyone get the DS-2CD2087G2-L(U) version of the camera to do 24fps at 4k? Mine won't go higher than 20fps. The website says it can do 24 or 25fps based on NTSC vs PAL.

Do you have anymore Hikvision 2CD2347G2-LU cameras in stock? I need one to compare to colorvu gen1. And also, did they improve the audio quality from gen1? Thanks

Blue Iris in a VM? Yup no problem!

I've been running VM's for years now. I know it won't make sense, but they seem to crash less than bare metal systems. ESXI 6.7 Is a wonderful VM to use. You can download it free to use for 60 days. Spend a whole weekend playing around with it, and you'll be hooked. Easier to backup and...

Blue Iris playing back sub-streams — am I misunderstanding this feature?

I was just told about the substream feature after investing a ton in a top of the line threadripper system. This new sub/main stream recording changes the game for blue iris. There should be no reason to use any other method for video security PERIOD. You can run high end cameras on low end...

    3990X & Blueirs thoughts ?

I've been running blue iris the last few years with various hardware (CPU and or NVDEC cards). A high end intel setup works well for most people, but I have about 20 cameras running high resolution that performance was paramount. My last setup was dual xeon E5-2650v2 CPU's running on ESXI 5.5...

    12 x 8MP - system requirements - discussion

Thanks for the reply Jan, but I tried that already and it was not enough to bring the CPU usage down significantly in 4k. I also have some cameras running at 30fps now which made it even more difficult. I have come to just using the substreaming of the cameras in blue iris, and when I need...

    Lorex LNB9232 and LNB9272

You got the varifocal version which is very large. I am fine with the fixed lens version. The black matches the exterior of my home and basement area well. What is the dahua version of our cameras?

Mine is the non varifocal model. I can still try and get you some day and night footage if you would like. I am extremely pleased.

    12 x 8MP - system requirements - discussion

Walrus: Not sure why my questions are vague to you. I have the 4k 15fps cameras now. I NEED 30fps. I know if blue iris struggles with 15fps, then going any higher will be a nightmare. I have upgraded a few of my cameras to the 30fps LOREX LNB9232S which is similar to the Dahua IPC-HFW1831E...

    Lorex LNB9232 and LNB9272

The Lorex models posted above will only shoot up to 30fps. I cannot go any higher frame rate no matter the resolution. They work great in blue iris.
