    Dahua HDW4300C firmware update failure

Ok, I have all kind of English firmwares, NTSC, PAL, some different models too, here's a link for it. However, still double check which one you want to try. Anyway the camera doesn't let you do one which does not match the camera. But no responsibility from me :) Dahua

    Dahua HDW4300C firmware update failure

Still stuck with: System has no SupportLanguages But from my experience is that you have to try as many fw-s as possible and one should work. I have a ton of them, do you want to try them 1 by 1 or you got already most?

Dahua Firmware Mod Kit + Modded Dahua Firmware

I see, my cam had telnet open all the time. Keep in mind it might have a reboot-loop so you'll kind of have to catch it. Otherwise you're cam's firmware is not running telnet by default - your next step would be serial connection

Dahua Firmware Mod Kit + Modded Dahua Firmware

Should be port 23, if the same happens, it must be sonia crashing all the time. What I did I logged in very fast and typed appauto 0 and hit enter (did succesfully after 30 tries), so when next time boots, it won't try to start sonia. When you've done what you wanted, don't forget to enter appauto 1

    Dahua HDW4300C firmware update failure

Couldn't get far yet, with missing dependency 'cramfsck'. Anyway, I've found a firmware with the date 2013 08 and we're on halfway! Can see in configtool, however, can't modify the parameters. It might be wrong port, I'm assuming that 37777 is not open, and web interface is not coming up...

Dahua Firmware Mod Kit + Modded Dahua Firmware

I have a nice error on my HDB-4300C, and would use this tool to bypass the nolanguage error. See the result from sonia: .............. 03:55:14|[Manager] info CMagicBox::onConfigAutoMaintain day = [2], hour = [2], min = [0], enable = [true] 03:55:14|[Manager] info CMagicBox::startDstTune...

    Dahua HDW4300C firmware update failure

It is possilbe - seems like they have deleted the region to let their firmware install on it.. anyway someone told me he could do it but he doesn't have time for me (would take a day or two).. I didn't have time to look into this, but I think that has to be the solution Added: I will try to...

    Dahua HDW4300C firmware update failure

Well for me, what I can see from the output is this:System has no SupportLanguages - then sonia doesn't start because it can't copy the language file to wherever it needs to - seems like the region chip is empty?!

    Dahua HDW4300C firmware update failure

I have the same problem, my HDB4300C updates properly, but web interface still doesn't come on, and open ports are only 23 ad 3800 where I'm upgrading from configtool. Looks like my language flag is missing from the chip, and sonia can't start. None of the firmwares work for me. Any suggestions?

    Dahua IPC-HDB4300C issue

Yep sorry guys, I was looking for the <> icon, didn't find the +, will do like that from now. I see, well there was one moment where all this could have happened - I've set the camera to DHCP in configtool, and I could have unplugged it too early, before it actually said done/complete. I don't...

    Dahua IPC-HDB4300C issue

Well, I was just wanted to check if there's a SimpChinese or English language found, so the reboot could be caused by region mismatch that doesn't let sonia start etc.. Pasting, there are a lot more before:# ... Fail to get env authcode! 21:49:03|[libpdi] Get authcode error 21:49:03|[libpdi]...

    Dahua IPC-HDB4300C issue

Hi everyone, I'm posting this question because I gave up on trying all firmwares, checking all related forums, etc. My HDB4300C mini dome camera has stopped working, it became bricked with reboot loop. Managed to stop it, and found out that when sonia wants to start, it doesn't find any...

    Hikvision upgrade firmware to 5.3.0

By the way, it's not bricked. Hopefully this can be solved soon. Update: Avoided the language mismatch message, by doing the lang flag change after the upgrade, but in this case it's bricking like before.

    Hikvision upgrade firmware to 5.3.0

So far as I've experienced every "chinese only" firmware had english language as well. If the cam's lang flag is english in the mtd-s then it will pop into english. But let's see tomorrow when I can test. I hope it will be the same situation in this firmware as before.

    Hikvision upgrade firmware to 5.3.0

If it is not bricking, that's fine as long as the language flag is english on the cams mtd5 and mtd6. The question is if it bricks the cam like the eu firmware or not. If not, we will win. I can't wait to see it but unfortunately I am only able to try tomorrow.

If you can't ftp after don't closing TFTP probably if you connect through serial then you can enable ftp with typing ftpd &. in putty. you have to stop boot by pressing ctrl+u or ctrl+c I'm not sure when you can enter ftpd. One of them lets ftpd &. work so it enables ftp you can connect and...

    Hikvision upgrade firmware to 5.3.0

It bricks either if you change the mtd's back. It does not allow the upgrade even if you don't hack the mtd. But to make sure I will double check on monday, I'm not at home during the weekend.

    Hikvision upgrade firmware to 5.3.0

just copy via FTP commands from mtdutils (nanddump, nandwrite, flash_eraseall, flash_erase) to tmp onto cam, type chmod 777 nanddump, chmod 777 nandwrite etc through telnet/serial, then you can run the commands and dump or reflash

    Hikvision upgrade firmware to 5.3.0

So i ask again to let the question be the last post. We should get an mtd5 and 6 from a real 5.3.0 english/chinese. Does anyone have a 5.3.0 cam with that firmware on it? Or get the dsp from /dev

    Hikvision upgrade firmware to 5.3.0

Ok, upgrading to 5.3.0 does not work with date changed on cam 5.2.5 to 20150327 - but the label on the side says 5.3.0 20150327! So I guess it will be the DSP version mismatch

    Hikvision upgrade firmware to 5.3.0

Have you tried manufacturing date 27.03.15? I have a 5.3.0 cam with that label on the box but there was 5.2.5 cam in it.

    Hikvision upgrade firmware to 5.3.0

Yes, I know, but I'm interested in the new cams only. Guess if they have 5.3.1 or 5.3.2 etc then we won't be able to upgrade anymore? Or we should find an official Chinese firmware 5.3.0. We should turn off dsp init. if possible, and if does not result other boot error.
