    Good tip on the factory reset. It was a new camera, but I’ll have to remember that for the next one I buy. Do you downgrade the firmware or just do a standard factory reset?

    From reading the other threads, I see it does typically work out of the box for most. It’s quite possible I messed up a default setting somewhere, so thanks for sharing the “normal” / “expected” procedure for others. I just wanted to share what worked for me.

    I struggled for 10+ hours to get IVS from my Empiretech/Dahua camera to feed properly into Blue Iris. I finally figured out the issue, so I thought I would share it here. The key thing I missed (and didn't see in the dozen or so other forum threads) was that I needed to add "00000" to the ONVIF...
