Actually live view is smooth, but playback is glitchy. I was only able to playback once successfully, but skipping in the timeline makes the video fail to start.

That worked! I didn't have to change settings to UDP and kept TCP and full main stream shows up in the live view, playback, and image settings. Thanks!

I tried switching the local settings to UDP with MAC_web_component_For_IPC_v3.0.5.26 and still no picture. I will just have to wait for the next update and see.

No solution for me either. I am running macOS Sierra (10.12.1) and the latest firmware (5.4.1) with no video stream at 4MP. I downloaded iVMS-4200 and you can view the full 4MP stream.

I finally figured it out! I now have a powered microphone working with my Hikvision cameras all through a single PoE cable. Since I'm running ethernet to the cameras, you might as well use PoE to power them and it makes sense that you should be able to power a microphone also. I haven't...

Which one did you use where you didn't have power? My location doesn't make it easy to run power to the mic.

In your testing, did you find an adequate passive microphone for sounds 10' far?

I see that they have APB002 and APB003 but don't sell the APB001 anymore. For the 12V power, since I have the cameras running POE, is there a way to tap into the existing Ethernet cable to power the microphone?
