    Here is a lesson learned I wired up my Hikvision DS-2CD2386G2-ISU/SL camera around 3 years ago without using the waterproof connector supplied. This is the reason it failed, no idea what's happened to the middle pins. The lesson here is always to use the waterproof connector supplied :)
