    Anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was able to get ONVIF downloaded to a Windows 7 laptop that I had forgotten about. When using ONVIF do I plug the camera directly to the NVR POE or do I need to plug it directly to ONVIF to access the camera. I've never used ONVIF before obviously.

    Anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the reply. It does show signs of powering up. The NVR already assigned static addresses. The Dahua ONVIF port is 80. I've tried to use admin admin, admin 12345, and other variations without success. I tried several times to get ONVIF Device Manager downloaded to an old windows...

    Anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is anyone using a Hikvision NVR with built in POE and Dahua 4431? I thought this would be as easy as plugging the camera into a POE on the back of the NVR and installing it as ONVIF (insert magic here and walah) to get a live image. I've read the threads but it's not helping.

    Neighbor Being Sneaky

We were reviewing some driveway footage today to see if some neighbor kids had gotten something on the wife's car when we spotted the neighbor from two houses down running across the yards. Zooming in we determined it was a 12 pack of Coors beer. We laughed for quite a while because he was...

Help - Unable to connect to Hikvision cameras after factory reset

So if I plug my MacBook into a POE on the back of my NVR I would be able to see the NVR and cameras on the network? I'm a noob and what you said about the cameras being assigned an address is exactly where I currently am with my setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hikvision 2342 cams and Hikvision NVR

Work is killer right now but I finally got two cameras installed and up and running. I know they are not as good as they can be yet as I am still learning the ins and outs of it all. I haven't been able to figure out how to adjust the camera settings. Feeling a little accomplished but I am...

I thought I had found a viable option. Reviews are mixed but he scariest part seems to be whether or not these will hold up over time.

I took some exterior photos to show possible locations I'd like to place cameras. I think I've settled on turret cams for the Hikvision 7608 NVR but any suggestions you guys make will be considered heavily.

    HikVision DS-2CD2032-I Firmware

I really want to DIY this whole project myself but it is very intimidating. Thankful for all of the knowledge everyone here has. I've locked myself in with the HikVision NVR and I think I want to use turret cameras. Just trying to find someone to buy from I feel comfortable with.
