    Hikvision ColorVu + 4K (DS-2CD2087G2-L)

Correct. Does the firmware for the (-U) version have the options to disable slow shutter and defog? If so, I'm wondering if the (-U) firmware can be installed on a non-(-U) camera.

    Hikvision ColorVu + 4K (DS-2CD2087G2-L)

Could it be that the DS-2CD2087G2-L is a US or North America version only with unique firmware? When I checked the Europe portal, all firmware specifically lists the DS-2CD2087G2-L(U) version. Is anyone in the US with a non-(U) version running a firmware from the Europe portal?

    Hikvision ColorVu + 4K (DS-2CD2087G2-L)

I just received my DS-2CD2087G2-L on firmware V5.5.154 build 200928, and I noticed that when I click on the BLC, WDR, or HLC options, I get a warning message to disable the slow shutter and defog options. To all of the suppliers/dealers on here: I'm curious if a known successor to the DS-2DE4A425IW-DE is in the near-future pipeline? I'd hate to spend the money on this PTZ only to have a 4K model, or one with improved technologies right around the corner. Thanks in advance.

How to setup Dahua IVS with BlueIris?

I know this post is several months old, but it made me raise an eyebrow while reading back through this thread... I'd like to hear your rationale behind saying there is no benefit to HTTPS. Defense in depth. including encrypting traffic, is always preferable on any network. I'm guessing...
