Wow. You need a vacation... I am not using a NVR because BI is better. But don't pretend that it does not have its issues. Jeez. It's all good. BI has no competition so we are stuck with it. But considering the amoint of time it takes to correct stuff the cost of owning it gets in to 5 digits...

Blue Iris is getting too much. I did not expect it to be so much work when I purchased it. There is always something...

THe problem is the recommended driver does not install on my i5 6500 dell Windows 10 pro.

I got a strange bug today. . Live stream was showing 2 minutes prior. Freaked me out not seeing my baby in the crib. Restart fixed it.

So h265 quicksync does not work...is it going to be fixed?

My BI has decided to have no signal when my dahua cameras re set to h265... Even going one version prior did not help...

I use a lot of L-Com products cables, connectors, power injectors, 2.4gHz amps and corner antennas. Top quality stuff. I have full confidence in LCom quality and reliability.

Same here. It works fine here with h265 except for the 30frames which I also believe is caused by the new dahua firmware.

Did it once with the new soft but after that it was fine...

Those were my setts.

Don't do any kind of motion detect on dahua cameras. They drop frames when they do that. Invest in BI but when it works don't update it. My best advice is stay away from dahua cameras.

What is frustrating is some cameras work fine and some are not. I notice the cameras that work for are showing 15fps in blue Iris "they are setup for 15 in the camera menu". The ones that show 30 fps show black playback. If I switch the extra only to h264 the playback is grayish and ghosted.

I don't want to use h264. H265 worked great.

So what is the solution? Dahua camera and NVR skips frames on IVS. Blue Iris is great but breaks down from software updates. I should have never got dahua cameras...

The last 2 blue Iris updates broke bunch of my cameras. 1 has gray issue and 2 other have black playback issue. This can not be happening with security systems...

H265 works fine on BI latest version with 6 Dahua starlight cameras. CPU only 16-20% recording on movement only and direct to disk hw decode no vpp on a i7 4700HQ laptop

It took too long. I am on blue iris already...And BI is so much better sensing actual movement...
