Thanks, Fenderman. Will verify all cameras web interface (again).

blue iris suddenly a memory hog and at 100% cpu usage

CPU utilisation before I re-set camera to 20fps and after. Notice it's not at 100%, because only one camera had it's Max. Rate config "auto-raised", in Blue Iris. When all of them change, I get 100%

blue iris suddenly a memory hog and at 100% cpu usage

And it just happened again. It's not the same camera I posted a screen shot on a previous post, but I guarantee that I left it at 20fps before.

blue iris suddenly a memory hog and at 100% cpu usage

I have 8 Vivotek IP8151P and 2 Dahua SD52C225. The Vivoteks are set to stream h.264 at 1280x1024 20fps. The Dahuas h.264 at 720p 20fps. Nothing was changed on the cameras side. I first noticed this problem some 7-14 days ago (the fans would go high on my otherwise silent machine). I had no...

blue iris suddenly a memory hog and at 100% cpu usage

I've been seeing the same on my server lately. Something is making Blue Iris Video configuration to change. All of my cameras are set to 20fps on their own web interfaces. That does not change. At the same time, I have always set Blue Iris Video "Max Rate" for each camera accordingly. But...

Dahua Starlight Recessed Dome PTZ (SD52C225U-HNI)

Ok, reduced 2D NR from 50 to 40. Left 3D NR on it's default of 50. I intend to capture some movement on footage tonight, to see if ghosting is reduced somehow. Will post back with the outcome.

Thanks for this info. Was it 2D or 3D noise reduction?

Dahua Starlight Recessed Dome PTZ (SD52C225U-HNI)

Turning all the lights off yields about the same ghosting on moving people as seen with Hue Lights on. Not happy with it now. Can one of the experts suggest manual settings I should try. I know it all depends on distance of the still and moving objects in picture, but I would appreciate a no-no...

Dahua Starlight Recessed Dome PTZ (SD52C225U-HNI)

Turning the flood lights off and leaving the 4 Hue Lamps on result in black and white picture with a fair amount of ghosting. Did not like the results. I'm in a hurry going out tonight, but will try again with the Hue Lights off as well when I return.

Dahua Starlight Recessed Dome PTZ (SD52C225U-HNI)

I haven't tried updating the firmware. After years on IT, with all my firmware updatable devices, I've learned to manage my anxiety levels and waiting at least one fortnight before taking the plunge.

Dahua Starlight Recessed Dome PTZ (SD52C225U-HNI)

Yes, I have two 20w LED flood lights come on automatically after dusk. The four lights you see inside the gazebo are Hue color Lamps also set to turn on automatically. On recordings, people/pets moving around at night with the flood lights on look just about the same as they do during day time...

Maybe removing and re-adding the camera may help. Have you tried: delete camera > select Auto-Search > let it find the camera > select it from the list > provide credentials again? YMMV

There you have it. Night shot at nearly factory default settings. All I did was select the profile that auto selects between day and night. Never touched any other image settings.

It will be my pleasure. Will try to post today after sunset, IF it's not raining, as I suppose rain may add undesired noise to the image.

Dahua Starlight Recessed Dome PTZ (SD52C225U-HNI)

Finally got the time needed to install the in-ceiling camera. Haven't got much time to play with it's settings though. For now, I can tell that I find it's image superb, no matter day or night.

I will post my impressions here as soon as I get it installed under the corner of the soffit on the first picture below. So far, it's looking good sitting upside down on a chair, facing the Window...

Dahua Starlight Recessed Dome PTZ (SD52C225U-HNI)

My camera Video Standard is PAL, which results in a max. of 50fps. My country mains is 60Hz. Should I apply NTSC based firmware? Do Video Standard format even have any influence on IP cameras, as opposed to analog cameras? Sorry for my ignorance...

Just got this camera from @EMPIRETECANDY . Haven't got the time to install it under the soffit yet, but intend to do so in the next couple of days.

Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

@iveco300 I would start by closing all access to easy4ip.com and easy4cloud.com for the camera at the router level and observe if the problem persist for a day or two.

Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

Thanks Frank for your reply! Sorry it wasn't clear before. English is obviously not my first language. The question is: Do you gurus think it would it be possible to apply the firmware for the SD5XXXX-HN to my camera? I mean, would it be possible to "rebrand" my camera? As you can see...

Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

Uhm, it seems this thread may be dead... No answers to my since Sunday. I'm sorry if it seems I hijacked this thread. Thought a simple answer to my doubt would not be seen as hijacking, as my camera shares the same internals and firmware as the SD5xxxx-IVS. Again, please accept my apologies if...

Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

As you can see on the picture below, there are some differences on my localized firmware. The IVS setup is not under the Event config as on yours. Most of the settings though are exactly the same. There is also no Global tab to the right of the IVS tab, just like on the latest firmwares you guys...

Here the firmware version information. Here are the specs for the my camera and it's IR enabled "sister". Sorry it's in Portuguese, I believe most of you would probably be able to compare the specs.
