    My Blue Iris machine is connected via ethernet cable however I just discovered wifi was turned on. I have never used this machine wifi so I have no idea how it got turned on. Turn it off also turned off bluetooth and will run some tests. Could it being turned on have caused conflicts?

    Thanks for your reply bp2008. I set up the second router as an access point (not a repeater). I have Charter and my internet speed is good (135 Mbps down and 5.8 Mbps up). So you're thinking I have a problem with my local wifi? I am going to reboot everything for starters.

    Cleared all cache, restarted computer etc. Still jerky. In this one minute video from this morning you can actually see the timer skips several seconds each time the video freezes. The black car came down the street, the silver car and white van came from the driveway accross the street...

    Backed Frame Rate to 15, Key Frame Interval 15, Bit Rate 1M and problem still exsists. Also installed 2nd router as repeater and have strong wifi signals. Problem is on all cams including one inside only 15 feet from the router. It does look like a buffer problem, how do I check that?

    FYI I am certain the problem begins in Foscam soetware, I can see jerky while watching cam via Foscam software.

    For the record, in the past I de-actived and activated 10 times and the key as invalid after the 10th time. If I remember correctly, if you install BI on another machine it automatically de-actives it on the old machine. The key is only good for 10 single activations, no...
