Well I broke it maybe ???
I changed the ip address out of static and so I lost it completely and finally connected to a computer directly and in ipconfig says the address is 169.254.188.21 subnet 255.255.0.0 instead of my network 192.168.x.x ????
I tried everting I could find online to change it...
I know this is a very old thread but my BI iPhone app is doing just that on my wife’s phone and mine , I rebooted the router and phone even checked my IP address nothing has changed but cannot connect to either of the 2 locations I have BI .
I signed up for this at a remote BI location and have get notification checked, how am I receiving this notification? through BI iOS app or on this site ?
Also I typed in my no-ip .net address ? will this work? since my ip address keeps changing
My iphone app won't connect to my remote BI but will at the house BI , it connects to home even when I am out and about but it won't connect to my other set up.
Also I can't connect remotely anymore from my home BI to my remote BI, I tried everything I could come up with.
After several attempts with the email and contact us route I called again and though I got a foreign speaking gal she was able to cancel and said she would email me a conformation which I received the next day.
What an outfit, I'll be glad to be out of that .

I had the same problem not long ago and changed the ip address of the router , my internet provider would't give me any help even though it is their router.
i know this is old but I had the exact same problem with an iPhone 8 today, BI would start to connect then disappear ☹️ I ended up uninstalling BI app and reinstall. Works perfect now.
I How do you find how many post? Is it actually starting one or in a conversation? Anyway I'd place it at my sister in laws since she found her gas cap off and hanging on her car.
Well I did get a netgear hotspot and a gsm card that runs off att towers , I can pull it up in the app only when I am at that location only on wifi cut can’t connect over the internet. My home BI can connect anywhere.
Any ideas ?
