Help Needed - Login Error on NVR W/ 5231

Hi Sifu The only thing I can think of is to try a hard reset on the camera. This will set it back to factory defaults although it mean dismantling the camera and pressing a switch. There is a thread with pictures on this site on hard resetting the camera. Then use the web browser and enter the...

Hi Techbill, Thank you for that. You are spot on correct. I plugged the PC into the back of the NVR and scanned the devices using the ConfigTool. This showed all the cameras connected to my NVR along with the problematic cameras showing as 'Uninitialized'. Opened a web browser and entered the IP...

Help Needed - Login Error on NVR W/ 5231

The suspense was killing me so I decided to take one of the cameras down, dismantle and did a hard reset by pressing on the switch for ten seconds. Connected it to a computer and the router but still no response using the factory default IP of 192.168.1.108. The router doesnt even show anything...

Installation was almost plug and play and was straightforward. I recently purchased two new Dahua IPC-HDW5231R-ZE cameras to add to the NVR but when installed...

NVR 4208 replacement fan for side unit

Thank you TonyR. The fan came with a kit which included a cable to slow the fan speed. It did make a difference but the air rush is still audible. Im going to wither have to get used to it or place it a bit further away from my desk.

NVR 4208 replacement fan for side unit

I have recently purchased a Dahua NVR4108-8P-4KS2 and found the internal fan (Sunon) was too loud. As the NVR is in my study, I changed the internal fan for a Noctua 40x10mm A-Series Blades with AAO Frame, SSO2 Bearing Premium Retail Cooling Fan NF-A4x10 which has a noise level of 13dB. It was a...
