Error 502 with NGINX reverse proxy and BI > 5.3.1

im getting this too cloudflare > letsencrypt docker w/ nginx on unraid > bi on subdomain setup at first rolling back to a previous version of BI5 worked, then i disabled BI5 updates. Issue popped up again, so cloudflare being involved as a culprit makes sense. if i am not logged in in certain...

5.3.1 - July 16, 2020 Your Blue Iris web server now is also an RTSP server.

5.3.12 (not sure if its just 5.3.10 or more) broke something for me: bi on a subdomain via linuxserver/letsencrypt/nginx organizr and other things on the main domain log into bi subdomain, all works. but after i log into main, the bi subdomain does 502s. looks like cookie issue of some sorts...

    New AMD Ryzen

Great to see the diversity. More and more people have home labs, especially with plex being so popular, that we need to push for no more dedicated BI boxes, I rather have 1 modern, beefier server than 2 mid size ones because BI hasn't caught up with the times

    Server 2016 and QuickSync

my cpu isnt as nice as yours, but also on win 2016 server. i am already running 3 servers, i really wish BI would fit easier into the rest of a typical homelab system.

    New AMD Ryzen

I'm so tempted to move my vm's to threadripper from my ryzen 1700, just for the hell of it. I still got my blue iris box on a xeon e3 1245 v3 sitting on my rack (transplanted lenovo ts140), I really wish i could decommission that box, BI is the only thing left on it. Alas, bound by quick sync...

Ryzen second gen for Blue Iris?

Still praying for VCE support someday for Blue Iris, would be an absolute game changer since its more than clear now that AMD caught up. My Plex box (with a few VMs on it) is on a 1700 ryzen and that thing is a beast but i still have a transplanted TS140 only doing BI sitting in my rack.

    AMD Versus Intel

BI being the only thing on people's boxes is a bad assumption IMO. Especially with how popular things like plex are nowadays. you guys are talking past each other.

    AMD Versus Intel

Agree, there is limited 2nd hand market on ryzen anything right now. I came across a ryzen 1700 based homelab just because I got it dirt cheap and wouldnt be the typical use case, so I am looking to restore my TS140 just for BI temporarily and free up a VM. I think i am just itching tho for the...

    Blue Iris on AMD 1800x

well, looking at the other ryzen threads and its pattern, I think this conversation is a lost cause.

    Blue Iris on AMD 1800x

I get it, I am glad and am encouraged to see more and more people try the ryzen's with BI in big and small use cases. Variety is great.

    Blue Iris on AMD 1800x

i recently moved my home server from a 1276v3 to a ryzen 1700 as the urge to try something new hit me. hyper-v and 4 VM's 5 cams (one 4mp HK and four samsung smartcam hd pros that I am slowly swapping out) and I really like how the ryzen chip is handling everything. my apps VM is running plex...
