IPC-T5442T-ZE IPC-T5442TM-AS IPC-T5842T-ZE SMD 3.0 Smart IR Latest New Firmware From EmpireTech

@jrbeddow,@Wildcat_1 The same issue with Corridor mode exists on the 5241 I use as a front door camera. IVS only works in the normal "horizontal" mode.

Thanks, didn't know that. I will have a look and see what I can pull out.

Looking for feedback and testing of my Dahua Home Assistant integration (via HACS)

Sorry for the mass questions, just had another idea about multiple IVS rules per camera. A simpler solution may be to create an additional sensor (not binary sensor) which returns json containing the rule that was triggered

Looking for feedback and testing of my Dahua Home Assistant integration (via HACS)

A couple of possible additions: 1. The name of the IVS rule is optionally added in to the name of the binary sensor created. My use case is that I gave two crossregion detections set up on one of my cameras. At night when one is triggered I turn on the rear deck lights, when the other...

Looking for feedback and testing of my Dahua Home Assistant integration (via HACS)

Hi @runraid Are you able to supply a snippet from a Home Assistant automation that shows what the "event_type" and "event_data" sections would look like (? I am trying to get an automation running that uses CrossLineDetection (IVS) to trigger external lights, but don't know what the event...

Gaps in recording - need help!

I had a similar problem. Running win 10 and newly upgraded BI5 OK, then not long ago there was a win10 update pending. I allowed it to update and later that day noticed short gaps in the recordings. While working on a PC alongside I noticed the BI machine rebooting and this is what caused a gap...

CameraEvents Service - Dahua Events to mqtt

@psycik Do you know what units the Center and Bounding Box values are? The values I receive appear to be too large to be pixels. I was hoping to use this information to locate where people/cars etc are and take actions accordingly.

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

Hi @looney2ns, thanks for your efforts in this review. From your testing, do you have any comments on how well the AI (people, vehicle detection) worked, especially at night? The ability to discriminate between people and cats/dogs would mean I could stop all the false PIR triggering of external...

    Dahua Cameras Lose GMT Offset

I think that the issue is fixed (cross fingers, touch wood etc) but not necessarily solved. Yesterday after a bit of googling I checked the status of Windows Time as looney suggested, and found that the server was disabled, only the client was enabled so all good. I then upgraded the 4...

    Dahua Cameras Lose GMT Offset

Hi looney2ns , firewall and IP is OK, the cameras are connecting to NetTime. Not sure how to disable Windows Time. I set NetTime logging to debug, and captured events around the 08:00 period as in the snapshot below. The log shows the 5 minute syncs for all cameras occurring until 08:00 where...

    Dahua Cameras Lose GMT Offset

I have four IPC-HDW4231EM-ASE cameras, and one IPC-HDW2231R-ZS camera, and all cameras reset their GMT offset from GMT+12 (New Zealand) to GMT+0 at 08:00 local time daily. Their time is synchronised to a NetTime app (version 3.14) running on the Blue Iris PC, and the app always shows the correct...

Camera snapshots obscured by bounding box and blue squares

In the camera/Record menu I have Jpeg snapshot set up to record every 2 seconds when triggered and this works well. However the resulting images show the bounding box and blue squares on the section of the image where motion occurred. This makes it difficult to identify the person causing the...
