    IPC-HDBW4231F-AS IR not working

Ok, did the firmware update and after that i also cycled it through a FACTORY default setting and reset only changing IP settings and it's STILL not working. Its not a super convenient option to remove the camera to inspect the physical internals, is that my only option at this point? It says...

    IPC-HDBW4231F-AS IR not working

I reset the settings back to default and that didn’t work either. All profiles are set to SmartIR. I’ll try the firmware update I guess. Frustrating. I am correct in assuming that the distance in this room should be an issue for the IR correct?

    Blue Iris UI3

Dumb. I saw that note in the documentation about iOS limiting some functionality but I feel like it should be more clear that it won’t play audio. That’s a pretty huge feature that is t available in iOS. I know it’s Apples fault but I think it would be helpful if a simple “...for example audio...

    Blue Iris UI3

Makes sense. I have the app for my phone but to have the grandparents see the kid cams I don’t want to buy the app again but I guess I can. Also for my wife and my MIL who lives with us. That’s buying the app 4 times. Seems a bit redundant at that point. So it sounds like audio in iOS is not...

    Blue Iris UI3

Hopefully someone can help me out with my issue. I can't seem to figure out why the AUDIO isn't working on my iOS devices through the webUI. It will work on my PCs but not on iOS devices. In chrome on iOS AND Safari. I searched and searched and couldn't find anything that would lead to my...

    Network Setup Questions

Hmmm. I wonder what protocol they use because it has to get through the firewall somehow. I could use my PC to setup OpenVPN and do it that way but I dunno if I wanna add another layer.

    Network Setup Questions

It is not setup as a router. The two NICs are not bridged so they don’t communicate to each other. The secondary NIC has no gateway so no internet connection. I’m just trying to understand why an open port for team viewer or google Remote Desktop is ok per the wiki but not a port for blue iris.

    Network Setup Questions

My PC that is running blue iris has two NICs in it. The cameras are on the non-internet connected NIC and I forward the port to the blueiris WebUI.

    Network Setup Questions

Shoot I did read it but I missed that it included NVR on that list. Even if the NVR is actually a PC with software firewall? I could understand a dedicated NVR may notnjave sodtware firewall but it’s windows 10 PC. Does that make it more secure if I forward that port? I’m trying to make it...

    Network Setup Questions

I set it up last night. I read that port forwarding to the cameras is bad. Does that count also for the nvr? I set it up last night to port forward to the webui and I have a dynDNS so I can always point to the webui. That’s pretty much what the BlueIris iOS app does for remote connection...

    Network Setup Questions

My two Dahuas will show up tomorrow. Trying to get some network prep done beforehand. Been following the Cliff Notes on the wiki. I have a dedicated PC to run BlueIris. It has two NICs in it. Originally i was thinking i needed to setup a VLAN but the more i thought about it, i don't. Because...
