That'd be helpful. Are you painting your mounts? I need them white; need to see if any particular paint is required for these things and if I can touch up easily or paint the whole thing. Look forward to your results.

Commercial install, price not the only factor, go for it @bluenose72 Tell us how the cam pans out? Curious if the quality is a lot better for higher priced gear

Agree domes look slicker - a few people here have bought the IPC-HDBW4231F for the front door Other than that, the tag line on here (well placed) is domes suffer from deterioration, reflection etc....so that's the advice you'll get I recommend doing a search of older posts and taking a look...

Many of us have bought it from Andy because he's the forum's vendor/sponsor and is generally popular here. I had a problem with a recent order but he was responsive. Andy is also a regular on the forums so you can reach him via IM or post on his profile page if he's busy... Note the posters...

Thanks Southern Yankee I just saw this - floundering around with the setup. My router has a different IP to that - so it's odd but I think I'm getting there (Fingers crossed)

I've read the Cliff notes and have the IP CAM connected to the switch and switch to the PC I can't find the camera on the Config tool. Have changed my IP address to 192.168.1.1 At a loss - any guidance please! This is so frustrating _ II've finished setting up the cams but I can't get any...

Do you use the turret tiger? I bought some 2231s but should have just gone with the 4431 in retrospect. Hopefully the 2231s do alright.
