    Thanks for replying. It is not CCA, it is copper. I have tried two different rj45 connectors, the second batch being from Tripp Lite I did not use 568b or 568a standard placement but have made sure all the wires match at both ends.

    I'm hoping someone here can help me trouble shoot my problem. I'm trying to hoop up a couple Hikvision IP PoE cams to an NVR. I wanted to make my on cables so I ordered CAT5E 350MHz copper cable. I made three 30 foot cables and when I hook the camera up, the nvr sees them (says "detecting") but...
